REQUIREMENTS:    

  •  Must have NYS Teaching Assistant Certification 
  •  Must meet NYSED Fingerprinting requirements

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

  • Self- motivated, resourceful and capable of working independently
  • Ability to work collaboratively and patiently with students and school staff
  • Experienced with technology
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and shifting priorities in a busy school environment
  • Working knowledge of ChromeOS, MacOS, and Windows operating systems. Familiarity with laptops, workstations, printers, interactive whiteboards (SMARTPanels), and standard peripherals
  • Ability to provide first-response technical support,diagnosing issues, testing hardware, and performing software installations across multiple platforms
  • Serve as an information source for all staff and students on technology related issues
  • Strong communication skills to assist students and staff in troubleshooting technical problems and identifying solutions effectively
  • Willingness to perform other duties as assigned by school administration
