• Requires ability to read blueprints, schematic / wiring drawings.
• Requires ability to comprehend verbal/written instructions.
• Requires ability to install and maintain all types of wiring, machinery installs, building projects and lighting systems.
• Requires ability to inspect electrical components, such as bus bars, transformers, circuit breakers, electrical panels and circuit boards.
• Requires ability to identify electrical problems with a variety of testing equipment.
• Requires ability to repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Must follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code and Arc Flash requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the department in a prescribed manner.
• Required to have knowledge of all types of Electrician tools needed to perform their assigned tasks.
• All work is subject to final inspection.
• Requires ability to train other maintenance personnel to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
• Will be required if needed to work in the Foundry and work some split shifts on occasions.
• Will have the ability to sign off on other maintenance personnel's electrical work.
• At times will need to troubleshoot machine controls and PLCs.
Other duties may be assigned.

Mathematical Skills - Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Have the ability to deal effectively with routine problems and situations.
