Job description

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Graphic Designer (Print Production Specialist) reports to the Production Supervisor (Assembly) and is responsible for all aspects of the print production program. This individual will function as a print shop for our warehouse to execute necessary internal and external printing needs.
We are seeking someone highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with an interest in print production and will train the selected individual how to operate and maintain our printing equipment.
Core Duties
  • Create, design, edit and set-up files as needed for images and digital artwork in Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Ability to print canvas art, signage and other items using a large-format printer
  • Properly inspect and proof all print jobs to ensure all printed items match artwork and are of highest quality
  • Maintain inventory of material used for printing as well as finished goods created
  • Assemble and put together canvas prints ensuring all edges are properly lined up and artwork is centered to frame
  • Work with internal team members to ensure printing needs get completed in a timely manner
  • Implement new processes and write appropriate SOPs in support of printing activities
  • Execute the print production projects efficiently in accordance with business processes
  • Implement and maintain preventative maintenance program for printing equipment
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly area

Basic Qualifications
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Willingness to learn how to set-up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot print equipment (cutters, routers, printers, plotters)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
  • Proficiency in color profiling, RIP software, and press file set up a plus
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to lift items / packages up to 50 lbs
