Job description

  • Proven understanding or experience using equipment including large format digital printers, UV flatbed printers, roll to roll printers, vinyl printers, laminators, and flatbed routers.
  • Ability to execute the print/production and package signage; work ranges from producing simple small signage, to fabrication of complex sign assemblies
  • Read and calculate job order; follow specific instructions as indicated by Customer(s)
  • Coordinates incoming Job Orders for production.
  • Graphic Design and file set up using Adobe Creative Suite Program
  • Review the artwork and prepare print files for printing.
  • Producing jobs on multiple machines and various printers using shop tools and equipment.
  • Product Finishing functions may include; Prepare and apply vinyl; i.e., setup, weeding, cutting, taping, trimming and mounting to substrates, banner-up installation, grommet / hemming knowledge and other functions as needed
  • Producing product in a timely manner and understanding of prioritizing projects.
  • Determining materials needed and staging of material for jobs
  • Work closely with our Sales and Production department to assure deadlines are being met.
  • Knowledge of CNC Router or willingness to learn the equipment is crucial.
  • Prepare final product for shipping and delivery multiple locations; create custom packaging when necessary
  • Responsible for regular basic maintenance of equipment.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized and well managed work environment

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of experience in Large Format Digital printing
  • Strong computer and internet skills (multiple platforms)
  • Expertise with Adobe based platforms (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
  • Able to manage and optimize workload, prioritize multiple projects, and streamline the production flow
  • Must demonstrate extreme attention to detail in design work
  • Skilled in copyediting/proofreading and desktop publishing
  • Ability to lift objects/rolls up to 50 pounds
  • Must be an energetic self-starter who is driven to succeed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance
