Job Summary: The Print Production Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining bindery and finishing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials according to customer specifications and production schedules. This role ensures accuracy, quality, efficiency, and safety throughout the production process.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up, adjust, and operate folding, stitching, and laminating equipment.
  • Read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and production specifications.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency standards.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, alignment, trimming, adhesion, and overall appearance.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor mechanical adjustments and preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate production records and downtime logs.
  • Ensure materials are loaded correctly and production deadlines are met.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Work closely with production, prepress, and shipping teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Assist with other bindery and finishing operations as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience operating folder, stitcher, laminator, or other print finishing equipment preferred.
