As a Senior Principal Systems and Storage Engineer, you will be a senior individual contributor within our Infrastructure organization, helping ensure our cloud and data center environments are operationally sound, well architected, and cost efficient.

Our team partners closely with engineering, platform, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable systems while continuously improving visibility, governance, and operational discipline. This role is onsite in Waltham 1 day per week.

  • Partner closely with stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient, cost‑effective, infrastructure architectures following industry best practices
  • Apply and reinforce AWS architectural best practices and performing provisioning, scripting, or deployment work
  • Own in‑depth, continuous cloud cost analysis, identifying inefficiencies, anomalies, and opportunities for ongoing optimization
  • Drive a culture of continuous cost improvement, ensuring infrastructure spend does not go unchecked
  • Provide senior operational oversight for systems, storage, and infrastructure services across cloud and on‑prem environments
  • Support incident response and escalation, ensuring issues are investigated, communicated, and resolved effectively
  • Provide hands‑on coordination and coverage for data center operational needs, such as hardware failures and vendor dispatch to facilities
  • Maintain and improve operational documentation, standards, and governance processes
  • Support AWS in all capacities
Who You Are
  • A senior‑level infrastructure professional with strong operational judgment
  • Comfortable advising and presenting on AWS architecture and cost while performing hands‑on cloud engineering
  • Highly analytical, with a strong focus on cost visibility and optimization
  • Calm, methodical, and effective during incidents and escalations
  • Collaborative and able to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and focused on operational excellence
What You’ve Accomplished
  • 5+ years of experience in direct cloud operations

  • Gartner Analyst acclaimed technology leadership across our categories of products
  • Continuous learning and development opportunities
  • An innovative, inclusive, agile, flexible, and fun work environment
  • Competitive global benefits program inclusive of pay, bonus incentive, and employee equity in the company
