What You’ll Do

  • Complete standard materials and mechanical tests on products, with a specific focus on innovative footwear.
  • Review and analyze test data to identify critical trends and insights that inform product development.
  • Generate clear, concise, and impactful reports, effectively communicating results to relevant teams and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with senior engineers on specialized testing projects, expanding your technical knowledge and skills.
  • Provide valuable consultation and training to peers, sharing your expertise and fostering team growth.
  • Proactively identify and recommend improvements to existing testing protocols and equipment to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a lab or testing environment, specifically involving product and materials testing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in test design, meticulous data collection, robust data analysis, and/or equipment design.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the proven ability to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience with statistical analysis of data to derive meaningful conclusions.
  • Proven ability to be a self-starter, capable of working effectively with minimal oversight and taking initiative.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all testing and reporting activities.
  • An adaptable and collaborative team player, eager to contribute to a supportive and innovative environment.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, proactively seeking solutions and driving clarity.

Stand Out Qualities

  • Experience with universal testing machines (UTMs) or Instron machines.
  • Experience with AutoCAD.
  • Experience with 3D printing.
  • Basic knowledge of biomechanics.
