The Role

We are seeking a talented individual to assist the Configuration Management CoE, with a strong focus on Common Service Data Model (CSDM) implementation. The Configuration Management Analyst will derive insights from available data and develop recommendations for process improvements. This role supports CMDB updates and analysis, and drives CSDM adoption across IT configuration data.

  • Assist with the migration of CMDB into the CSDM data management model

  • Provide accurate data through reporting for annual maintenance and validation

  • Engage with strategic projects to ensure Configuration Management can deliver required functionality within project timeframes

  • Support the IT lifecycle management plan for all equipment, hardware, and software within scope

  • Perform operational activities as defined by Configuration Management (CM) policies and procedures

  • Experience with CSDM and operational use within ServiceNow CMDB

  • Fulfill CM service requests as assigned

  • Mentor the organization on CM services, concepts, policies, and procedures

  • Oversee the design, coding, and testing of reports as needed

  • Collect and report on metrics as required

  • Identifying and reporting on noncompliance situations

  • Perform CM audits as directed

  • Identifying service improvement opportunities

  • Mentor and help direct Configuration Management specialists

  • Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and ITIL processes

  • Leverage data skills to evaluate opportunities through the lens of objectivity, optionality, and clear considerations

  • You establish and maintain effective relationships in a highly matrixed environment

  • 3 plus years of data / process analysis experience

  • Thorough understanding of IT service portfolio development and governance, including: definition, design, and standard operating models

  • 3 plus years of ITSM / ITIL service management related work experience

  • Experience and expertise with service management platform tools, preferably ServiceNow

Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles.
