Location: Orlando, Florida (On-site)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to take end-to-end ownership of a core product. This role involves working on a standalone application that displays a catalog of learning modules. The ideal candidate will support and enhance internal team tools, take ownership of a key product, build new features, maintain existing functionality, and drive product enhancements with the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React.
  • Build and maintain cross-platform desktop applications using Electron.
  • Develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Node.js.
  • Ensure web and desktop applications meet user needs and are scalable.
  • Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, testing, and deployment.
  • Work with designers, developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical expertise.
  • Follow industry best practices and standards, ensuring code is efficient and maintainable.
Required Qualifications
  • 5-8+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack JavaScript Developer.
  • Strong experience building applications with React.
  • Experience building and shipping desktop applications with Electron.
  • Strong Node.js backend development experience.
  • Experience designing RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.).
  • Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, Cypress, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of a product.
