Job description

Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support a leading industrial equipment manufacturer's standby power solutions team in Griffin, GA. This is a hybrid position requiring two days per week onsite.
Position Overview
โ€ข Support engineering project leads and electrical team leads to develop subsystem and component designs that meet customer requirements.
โ€ข Own Creo design, detailing, and release work across the full lifecycle of standby power solution projects - concept, detailed design, release, purchasing support, build support, and commissioning support.
โ€ข Collaborate daily with local and international team members throughout the design and release process.
Team Structure & Work Environment
โ€ข Work alongside electrical leads who provide project requirements and timelines and report on project status weekly.
โ€ข Join a seven-person electrical design team, with four members local and three based in other locations.
โ€ข Work from a dedicated desk in-office alongside the electrical subsystem, mechanical subsystem, and project-level engineering teams, with occasional visits to the shop floor requiring steel-toe shoes and other PPE.
Requirements
Education & Experience
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET) with 8+ years of relevant experience.
โ€ข Candidates with an Associate's degree and 12+ years of directly relevant experience, or a Master's degree and 6+ years of directly relevant experience, will also be considered.
