Job Overview:

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Principal Solution Architect – Salesforce Consumer Goods who designs and implements Salesforce-based technology solutions that support Direct Store Delivery (DSD), retail execution, and consumer goods business processes.


This individual analyzes business and stakeholder requirements, develops Salesforce-aligned architecture frameworks, and creates detailed solution designs across the Salesforce platform.


The Principal Solution Architect collaborates with business and technology teams to successfully integrate Salesforce systems and components, overseeing the deployment, maintenance, and administration of complex Salesforce-driven enterprise solutions.

What you will do:

As the Principal Architect, you will…

  • Contribute to defining Salesforce architecture models, solution patterns, and implementation guidelines aligned with enterprise architecture standards and Salesforce best practices.
  • Analyze and translate DSD, retail execution, and consumer goods business requirements into conceptual Salesforce architectures and high-level system designs.
  • Develop conceptual models of how field sales representatives, merchandisers, route drivers, and retail users interact with Salesforce solutions.
  • Review existing Salesforce and adjacent systems to determine improvement or modernization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with teams to create Salesforce solutions and integration diagrams.
  • Identify organizational impact on people, processes, technology, and financials.
  • Evaluate Salesforce products and third-party ISV solutions and their integration into the architecture.
  • Shepherd Salesforce solution design and implementation while resolving architectural issues with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Architect and extend Salesforce Consumer Goods Retail Execution (CGRE) applications, including visit planning, in-store execution, surveys, tasks, and mobile offline experiences
  •  Apply Einstein AI and analytics capabilities to enable insights-driven decision-making, predictive recommendations, and performance optimization for field sales and retail execution teams.
  • Design and implement Salesforce Agentforce and AI-powered experiences to support intelligent automation, guided selling, and field productivity use cases across DSD and retail execution workflows.
  • Ensure resiliency, availability, scalability, performance, and maintainability of Salesforce solutions.
  • Research emerging Salesforce features and industry trends.

Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $97,000 - 165,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, System Analysis, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 10 – 12+ years of experience in IT and business/industry including strategic and operations planning
  • 10+ years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution, or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management, or operations
  • Experience in working in multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
  • 3–5 years of IT experience including Salesforce architecture, design, and delivery.
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies with experience delivering Salesforce solutions in Agile and DevOps environments
  • Proven ability to translate strategic vision into executable Salesforce roadmaps.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem supporting Consumer Goods, DSD, and retail execution highly desired.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein AI, and intelligent automation features in enterprise Salesforce implementations
  • Experience designing and delivering solutions using Salesforce low-code/no-code tools, balancing speed of delivery with architectural rigor.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, DSD, route accounting, and analytics platforms or similar ecosystems
