Job description

Job Summary:
The Housekeeping position at a Princeton WV Hotel is an individual contributor role in the hospitality/restaurant industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for all guests and ensuring that all areas of the hotel are kept up to company standards.
Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas of the hotel, including vacuuming, dusting, and mopping.
- Change and replace linens and towels, as needed.
- Stock and replenish guest room amenities, such as toiletries and towels.
- Clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures and surfaces.
- Empty and dispose of trash and recycling from guest rooms and common areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate departments.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for guests and employees.
- Respond to guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with laundry services, as needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing techniques.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 25 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
