About the Role:
Primrose School of Redmond is looking for a passionate and experienced Director of Childcare to lead our team in Redmond, WA! This is an exciting opportunity to shape a nurturing, high-quality early education environment where children thrive and families feel at home.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the childcare facility, ensuring a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of early childhood educators and support staff
  • Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and Primrose curriculum standards
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with enrolled families and the broader community
  • Manage enrollment, budgeting, and administrative functions of the school
  • Implement and uphold the Primrose Schools' Balanced Learning® curriculum and philosophy
  • Conduct staff evaluations, training, and professional development initiatives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in early childhood education leadership or childcare management
  • Knowledge of Washington State childcare licensing requirements and DCYF regulations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced childcare setting
