LEARNING ENVIRONMENT SPECIALIST

WHAT A DIFFERENCE

At Primrose, our mission - to forge a path that leads to a brighter future for all children - is why we do what we do each day. Primrose provides a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families. We believe who children become is as important as what they know.

We believe who YOU are is as important as what you know. We make every effort to ensure everyone feels they belong in our Primrose community. Our commitment to Belongingness means we seek similarities and respect differences in our unique backgrounds, life experiences and perspectives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As the Learning Environment Specialist, you will be responsible for the integrity and ongoing management of Primrose's furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) inventory operations. You will own the Primrose Orderbook System (Fohlio), serve as the primary point of contact for FF&E support, and coordinate product lifecycle activities including inventory management, product changes, discontinuations, and recalls. Working closely with franchise owners, vendors, and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure Primrose learning environments remain safe, consistent, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Own and maintain the Primrose Orderbook System (Fohlio), ensuring product records, specifications, and inventory data are accurate, current, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Develop and maintain inventory-related resources, reference guides, and purchasing documentation for franchise owners and internal teams.
  • Review inventory and resource reports, identify trends or issues, and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Manage the end-to-end process for product changes and discontinuations, including vendor coordination, communication planning, and system updates.
  • Administer the Change of Equipment Request process, including tracking submissions, coordinating approvals, and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Monitor product recalls and coordinate communications and follow-up activities with vendors and franchise owners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for FF&E-related inquiries through Freshservice, responding to and escalating support requests as appropriate.
  • Partner with Franchise Business Consultants and Growth & Transformation team members to resolve FF&E-related questions and support franchise owner needs.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with FF&E vendors and coordinate communications related to product updates, submittals, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure inventory resources remain current and aligned with operational, accreditation, grant, and state-specific requirements.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and accessibility of FF&E information across systems, resources, and communication channels.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
  • 2-4 years of experience in inventory management, procurement, operations coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort learning and navigating multiple systems and technology platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage detailed processes with accuracy and follow-through.
  • Self-directed problem solver who takes initiative and drives issues to resolution.
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to supporting franchise owners and internal teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU WILL GET
  • Commission or bonuses based on personal and company performance
  • 50% tuition reimbursement for up to three children at any Primrose Schools
