Information Security, ISSE FS Poly- Prime contract
  • Ashburn, VA

Our client is the prime of a sole source contract. They are seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSE) to provide hands-on proactive ownership of the cybersecurity posture of their program. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies and procedures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in information systems security
  • In-depth knowledge of information security principles, practices and regulations
  • Proficient in reading scans
  • Proficient in working cross functionally to mitigate scans
  • Experience with POA&Ms
  • Proficient with working with a team and ISSM to achieve accreditation
  • Experience with a large environment that has multiple domain/enclaves, not a flat environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Clearance: Active TS/SCI + FS Poly required
