Priderock Capital Management, LLC, is searching for well-rounded individuals to join our Maintenance Technician Trainee Program at our community in Tampa, FL.


Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician Trainee Program provides hands-on exposure to the property management industry while developing the skills needed for multifamily residential maintenance and make-ready operations. Over the course of 3-6 months, trainees receive practical training, guidance, and opportunities to build their maintenance knowledge and technical skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.


Trainees who successfully complete the program and demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and a commitment to learning may be considered for a permanent maintenance position within the company at the conclusion of the program.


Trainee Program includes training in the following areas:

  • Complete apartment turnovers within prescribed time limits.
  • Respond and diagnose work orders and determine the most cost-effective method of repair.
  • Maintain the grounds and building exteriors in a fashion that enhances curb appeal.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to community prospects and residents that are encountered daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager as deemed appropriate to meet goals and objectives established for the property.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Prior Property Management Experience not required
  • Minor experience with hand tools, power tools, minor repairs preferred
  • General knowledge of simple repairs
  • Professional appearance and the ability to communicate effectively and articulately
  • Ability to be part of a team and eager to learn new skills
  • Customer Service oriented
  • Reliable transportation
