Job description

JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of the facility and its equipment. This role supports routine and preventative maintenance efforts to ensure optimal functionality, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate is well-rounded, with working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facility maintenance, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work while contributing to a positive team environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner, following company policies, procedures, and work rules
  • Conduct routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on facility systems and equipment
  • Perform minor repairs across building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and support timely resolution to minimize downtime
  • Complete assigned work orders accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with construction, installation, and equipment repairs as needed
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance tools, parts, and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of facility systems including plumbing, electrical, irrigation, HVAC, and security
  • Support general facility upkeep including cleaning and organization of maintenance areas
  • Research and adapt to new maintenance methods, tools, and technologies
  • Assist in continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency
  • Foster a positive team environment through collaboration, accountability, and a proactive attitude
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required state cannabis agent badge
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and internalize training
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Must comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 lbs (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and repetitive motions
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • 2+ years of maintenance or related experience
  • Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and general construction/carpentry
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or start-up environment
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative and resourcefulness
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 4:30 pm -1 am Friday 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
