The Role: Customer Service Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Sussex, WI. In this role, you will act as a crucial link between our company and our customers. Your mission is to deliver high-quality service that fosters trust, contributes to client retention, and strengthens long-term partnerships.

You will be the heartbeat of our customer relations, managing everything from routing calls and preparing orders to cross-departmental problem-solving. By balancing empathy with efficiency, you will help maintain the clear internal and external communication channels that keep our orders flowing smoothly.

What You'll Do
  • Maintain all order information, execute necessary revisions, and ensure absolute accuracy before documentation moves to Finance and Production.

  • Work closely with all internal teams-including Shipping, Logistics, Finance, Sales, and Receiving-to ensure customer orders flow efficiently and arrive safely.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve routine inquiries and customer complaints by providing empathetic, positive, and solution-focused outcomes.

  • Efficiently answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate personnel or departments.

  • Coordinate and process Return Authorizations seamlessly.

  • Regularly visit our manufacturing floor to coordinate with production staff while wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

What You Bring
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or a related field.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

  • The ability to analyze situational variables, carry out multi-format instructions (written, oral, or diagram), and handle high-stress situations calmly and professionally.

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office suites along with internet-based research skills.

  • A drive to continually learn our company products and processes while adapting positively to organizational improvements.

  • Comfortable sitting, twisting, standing, and walking regularly , with the ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
