Job description

Sanipac, a Waste Connections company is looking for a safety conscious Union Truck Washer to join the team in Eugene, Oregon. This position will perform a variety of duties including the washing and cleaning of trucks in support of maintenance operations.
Schedule: 4-10 Schedule, Mon-Thurs or Tue- Fri : 1:30 pm to Midnight.

Starting Wage: $24.53/per hour DOE.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Organize and implement a truck cleanliness program and see that trucks stick to an organized wash schedule.
  • Operating a Pressure Washer
  • Sweep floor, put parts away, and perform other custodial functions to maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. Assist in keeping building grounds and wash bay clean and organized.
  • Perform minor repairs to the equipment and facility.
  • Perform other related work as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid Driver's License with Clean Driving Record
  • Proven ability to be a self-started with work with little supervision required.
  • Experience in a maintenance shop or industrial environment preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work safely in all weather conditions
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
