Field Service Technician - MB Pavement

Position
We are currently searching for the right candidate to join our Aftermarket Service and Training team as a Field Service Technician serving the West and surrounding areas within our Northwest territory. This position is responsible for servicing and demonstrating our pavement striping vehicles and equipment, as well as providing operator training at customer locations.
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrating equipment to potential customers.
  • Installing new or modified equipment at customer's facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications.
  • Assisting in the training of new operators at customer sites.
  • Providing on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot, repair, and adjust equipment.
  • Evaluating field installations and recommending design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
  • Attending trade shows which may include assembling and disassembling equipment.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, an associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of four years of construction equipment related service experience preferred.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude
  • Mechanical knowledge - Hydraulics, Electronics, Pneumatics, Transfer Pumps, High Pressure Pumps, Pressurized Vessels, Burners, Furnaces
  • Willingness to travel (up to 95%) throughout the United States and Canada
  • Includes flying and driving
  • Excel in customer service

Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must regularly/frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and infrequently/occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
  • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and adverse outside weather conditions.
