Job description

Press Operator

Marlboro Manufacturing, a leader in continuous hinge manufacturing, is looking for full-time candidates to work in our manufacturing.
  • Working Hours 10 hour shifts 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday with some overtime on Friday as required.
Requirements
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be safety conscious and follow safety rules
  • Must be be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Attendance is key
  • Must pass a Drug and Alcohol testing
Qualifications:

  • Must be able to bend and stand to operate machines
  • Must be able to carry out instructions and training both in written or verbal form
  • Shows the ability to use measuring tools, tape measure, calipers
  • Be able to or learn to set up machines
  • Must be able to write legibly
  • Assist in problem solving
  • Has the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety Rules, operating paper work, blue prints
  • Prior machine skills and knowledge of hand tools is helpful
  • Strive to reach department wide production goals
  • Must be able to work with others
  • Trouble shooting machines for any malfunctions or irregularities, fixes machine parts as needed to ensure they operate properly and conducting quality checks on parts.
