Join a Modern Print Operation That's Redefining Packaging

At Cursive, we help leading consumer brands bring their stories to life through high-quality labels and packaging. Using advanced automation and digital technology, we've reimagined how packaging is produced-faster, smarter, and more efficiently. We're a growing, well-capitalized company with a lean team that values innovation, accountability, and craftsmanship.

If you enjoy working with cutting-edge equipment, take pride in quality, and want real growth opportunities, this role is for you.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a full-time Digital Press Operator to run HP Indigo digital presses in a clean, bright, state-of-the-art production facility. You'll play a critical role in producing premium labels and packaging for top brands in wine & spirits, health & beauty, and food & beverage.

This is more than a press operator role-you'll be a key contributor to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

 What You'll Do

  • Set up, operate, and monitor HP Indigo digital presses to produce high-quality printed materials
  • Read and follow job tickets, ensuring correct materials, color consistency, and specifications
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly press maintenance to keep equipment running at peak performance
  • Monitor quality throughout the print process and make adjustments as needed
  • Troubleshoot press issues, including working directly with HP remote and on-site support
  • Maximize uptime and efficiency while meeting production schedules and quality standards
  • Track production, quality, and material usage accurately
  • Identify and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to address issues and meet deadlines
  • Assist in other production areas as needed to support overall plant goals
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior printing industry experience required; label or shrink-wrap experience strongly preferred
  • Experience running HP Indigo presses (6K, 25K, or similar); Level I Indigo Certification a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to manage priorities and perform well in a fast-paced production setting
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to continuous improvement

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work safely around moving equipment in a moderately loud production environment
  • Visual acuity to distinguish color, detail, and print quality

Why You'll Love Working at Cursive

  • Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits (including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, STD, LTD, and 401k)
  • Modern, state-of-the-art equipment and facility
  • Real career growth in a fast-growing company
  • Lean team where your work makes a visible impact
  • Opportunity to work with world-class consumer brands
  • Performance-driven culture that recognizes skill, effort, and results
  • Supportive team that values collaboration, learning, and innovation
