RR Donnelley is adding a Presentation Designer to their team!
In this role, you will be responsible for creating templates, backgrounds, and presentations incorporating information graphics, charts, metaphorical graphics, and diagrams for high-level clients - primarily using PowerPoint and secondly Adobe Creative Suite software. Presentations will range from RFPs to Company's pitches and any internal materials.
1st Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10AM - 6PM
Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality pitch books, presentations, and client memoranda
  • Import and revise graphics files as necessary
  • Create and edit multi-page/multi-section documents using templates and style sheets for pitchbooks, graphs, charts, presentations, and other print/design projects
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality, and a critical eye in terms of aesthetics
  • Collaborate with team members on complex or special projects
  • Maintain all job and production tracking data via a propriety RRD Tracking tool
  • Coordinate workflow within the team, including prioritizing jobs and delegating duties to associates
  • Monitor workflow to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, accurately, and within deadlines
  • Assess incoming requests selecting the best resources for successful completion
  • Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information
  • Train new employees on policies and procedures
  • Communicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues.
  • Assist with monthly metrics and reporting
  • May work with motion graphics and multimedia work

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in area of business, or equivalent experience required
  • At least 4 years of professional presentation or graphic design experience
  • High proficiency knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • Knowledge of After Effects is a huge plus
  • Experience with charting in excel
  • Video editing and/or sound editing skills are a plus
  • Knowledge of print design a plus
  • Excellent design sense and awareness of current design trends
  • Capable of translating complex data in a visually compelling way
  • Understands the importance of brand and can work within established standards
  • Adaptability and willingness to pitch in where needed
  • Ability to make independent decisions and use problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Deadline management which includes managing wait times and turnaround times (TAT)

Additional Information
The salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $30.30-46.06/ hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.
