As a Progressive Care (Acute Care Step-down) Registered Nurse at Presbyterian Hospital, you'll coordinate nursing care - including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care.
We welcome applications from both new graduates and experienced RNs! New graduates have the opportunity to participate in our mandatory residency program, which includes monthly seminars led by the Nurse Residency Team, peer-to-peer debriefing sessions, support groups/mentoring, and rounding. The Nurse Residency Program is an added benefit designed to support your transition into practice

Job Description

In Progressive Care, there are opportunities for RNs to gain leadership experience through Preceptor, Clinical Practice Leader, Relief Charge and Quality Improvement roles.

Sign-on Bonus & relocation available for qualified candidates.

0.9 FTE (36 hours/week)

Day Shift and Night Shift Available
12-hour Nights, 7:00pm - 7:00am

As a not-for-profit acute care facility, Presbyterian Hospital is dedicated to the care of its patients and community. The new Progressive Care tower at Presbyterian Hospital features:

As a Registered Nurse at Presbyterian, you'll be eligible for:

  • Night and weekend differentials

  • Education differentials ($2.00/hour for BSN; $4.00/hour for MSN)

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing or above required.

    *Degree from accredited academic nursing program preferred

  • Registered Nurse-NM

    *State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License

  • BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.
