Job description

Dorn Color has an immediate need for a Color Correction/Prepress Technician. Primary role is to prepare customer supplied art into press ready files for production. Duties include preparation and imposition of proof files for the production of brochures, fan decks, flat pieces, folding products, booklets as well as creating artwork.

Preferred Experience:
  • Highly skilled with Color Correction and scanning techniques
  • Multicolor offset printing industry
  • Able to work under tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of Prepress workflow software.
  • Preflight and correct art files per company procedure with regards to file management
  • Experience troubleshooting art files for print
  • Responsible for the plating process
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
  • Successful candidates must be proficient with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel and Word.

    Fuji XMF is a plus.
