Post-Entry Specialist – U.S. Customs Brokerage
Location: Flexible (Remote or Office-Based)

Bay Brokerage Inc., a nationally licensed U.S. Customs brokerage firm with over two decades of proven excellence, is seeking an experienced Post-Entry Specialist to join our trade compliance team.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable professional to support and lead our post-entry operations. The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience in customs brokerage post-entry processes and a strong working knowledge of U.S. trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit Post Summary Corrections (PSCs) and protests within regulatory deadlines
  • Respond to CBP Requests for Information (CF-28) and Notices of Action (CF-29)
  • Review and ensure accurate HTS classification and valuation
  • Evaluate trade agreement eligibility, including compliance with USMCA rules
  • Navigate issues involving Section 232 tariffs and reciprocal duties
  • Maintain organized records and ensure timely follow-up on all CBP actions
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure full compliance and resolution of entry discrepancies

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of U.S. Customs post-entry experience
  • Must have Customs brokers license
  • Strong knowledge of HTS classification, valuation methodologies, USMCA, Section 232, and reciprocal duties
  • Familiarity with U.S. Customs procedures, including protests, liquidations, and CBP communications
  • Proficient in ACE and related Customs systems preferred
  • Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
