Job description

Hypower, LLC. Is looking for a Prefab Material/Warehouse Clerk for our Commercial Electrical Division Prefabrication shop.

The Prefab Material/Warehouse Clerk shall be responsible for accurately tracking the receiving, inventory, shipping, of materials and tools related to the prefabrication process. This position will work closely with the Prefabrication Production Manager to ensure efficient space utilization, and that materials are all received and staged in the appropriate work areas prior to fabrication. The wage range for this position is $25/hr - $30/hr based on experience and qualifications.  Apply today!

Responsibilities:

  • Take materials off Delivery trucks with Forklift
  • Check in all materials accurately and quickly
  • Update computer program with detailed information on items received & backordered.
  • Follow up on and track all backorders so items are received in timely manner.
  • Label and track all materials received in warehouse - with ability to quickly and effectively find, pull and utilize items as requested.
  • Place & pull pallets from shelving with Forklift.
  • Coordinate with Prefab Manager to stage build materials
  • Stock and organize racks of materials.
  • Keep Warehouse organized and tidy.
  • Prioritize, Prep and Stage Items for Shipping to jobsites.
  • Assist with scheduling deliveries.
  • Update tool inventory - check in & check out.

Qualifications:

  • Receiving / Warehouse / Inventory Experience.
  • Meticulous & Thorough with handling details.
  • Takes ownership of tasks & work area.
  • Eager to learn & drive to improve every day.
  • Great with computers - Excellence with Excel is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and accomplish many tasks, despite being interrupted.
  • Ability to lift 50-75# independently regularly.
  • Forklift Experience a Plus.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills.
