Job description

We're seeking an additional member of our Facilities Services team who handles quick-hit projects. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in managing estimating, restorations, commercial construction, and client build-outs, with a focus on projects completed on time and within budget. Estimating experience is required. The primary role of this position is to lead the project from beginning to end, know the project's financials in/out, and "own" the process. PMs should be able to identify project risks and navigate solutions to mitigate them. Seeking individuals who are eager to launch, good communicators, possess leadership qualities, are willing to train and assist others, and are excited about construction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Help support day-to-day project needs as well as facilitate all facets of planning for the project.
  • Manage and support multiple projects at a given time.
  • Help support the project team in the field.
  • Management of all contract documents for the project.
  • Facilitate coordination meetings with clients. Should be able to effectively push progress forward using relationships, tact, humility, and intellect.
  • Help assemble, organize, and execute trade contractor change orders.
  • Lead preconstruction efforts for projects, create scopes of work and budget proposals.
  • Work closely with the owner, designer, and trades. Create and grow relationships.
  • Create and coordinate the overall schedule and planning of the project, working alongside the field team. Update and communicate with internal and external teams as necessary.
  • Help support any self-perform trades on projects.
  • Coordinate all project financials, including trade invoicing, owner pay applications, project margin analysis, and cost estimating, with support from the assigned Assistant Project Manager.

Qualifications:
  • Experience requirements include; minimum of 5 years working in construction, reconstruction / restoration field.
  • Educational requirements include; 4-year construction management and / or facilities management or equivalent degree or, min 4-year equivalent hand-on experience in a similar role.
  • Hands-on construction experience is not required, but is preferred.
  • Must know how to read plans and specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam required.
