Job Summary

Managing multiple initiatives, including being responsible for initiating and cultivating new business, and maintaining relationships with potential and repeat customers, architects, engineers and subcontractors, estimating and budgeting conceptual and lump sum bid projects and performing overall Pre-construction Services in cooperation with corporate goals and the local marketing and business plans. The Director of Preconstruction Services is responsible for estimating and budgeting conceptual and lump sum bid projects and performing overall Pre-construction Services in cooperation with corporate goals and the local marketing and business plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

All duties and responsibilities include the following, however, other duties may be assigned.   • Direct the work for an area or regions in which a team performs research (prospect) and client contact to identify and prioritize potential markets and customers. Prioritze team focus on which projects are focused on in order to determine client needs and
  • Direct others who meet with client management, staff and supervisory personnel to explain character, policies, skills, resources, and capabilities of the company. Attend various social events and be a member of associations / non-profit organizations, representing the company and meeting new client contacts.
  • Develop area marketing plans and goals, and in developing strategy for management client contacts regarding new work, estimating services, contract negotiation, and future work potential.
  • Call on Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors to stay informed of upcoming projects. Notify management group of sales activities and approximate timing for company proposal and bid submittals.

LEED Accreditation and other industry related certifications a plus.
