What You’ll Do

As a Laser Specialist, you’ll operate and maintain our BLM LT8 tube laser system, ensuring accuracy, quality, and safety in all production activities. In this role, you will:

  • Operate the BLM LT8 tube laser safely and efficiently to meet production goals.
  • Set up materials, adjust machine parameters, and monitor cutting operations for precision and quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and basic mechanical repairs.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues to reduce downtime.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications.
  • Maintain accurate production records and uphold all company safety and quality standards.


What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience operating laser cutting equipment; BLM LT8 experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
  • Skilled in machine setup, calibration, and parameter adjustments.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with BLM software, control interfaces, and basic CNC programming.
  • High attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to work independently.
  • High school diploma required; BLM LT8 training preferred.


Work Environment

This is a fully onsite role in a dynamic manufacturing environment where you will:

  • Work around moving machinery, noise, and airborne particles.
  • Be physically active — standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs as required.
