Your role and responsibilities

The role is to serve as a member of the Corporate Security, Executive Security Services team which provides security services for the corporation.

The role encompasses the security of individuals, corporate facilities, residences, events, ground and air transportation, and special projects. Additionally, you will be required to coordinate off-site activities and execute plans with precision logistics to the IBM Chairman/CEO as well as IBM senior leaders, CEOs of other companies, heads of state, political leaders ensuring a safe environment. The work environment will be fast paced with high-profile individuals on a global basis; settings are often unfamiliar and at times in transit. Engagements are numerous and geographically dispersed.

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree/College Diploma

  • At least 10 year's experience in Security/Law Enforcement

  • International travel experience in Executive Security/Personal Security

  • At least 5 years experience in Executive/Personal Security

  • Readiness to travel 50% travel annually

  • LEOSA/HR-218 qualified and credentialed

  • Good physical fitness able to pass a yearly "FAA Class II type" medical exam

Preferred technical and professional experience

Bachelor's Degree

At least 10 year's experience in Law Enforcement

At least 10 year's experience in Executive/Personal Security

5 + years of international travel experience in Executive/Personal Security

Additional language skills
