Position: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Dodge Center, MN

Duration: 6 weeks

Job Description

Schedule: regular business hours but offers flexible hours, as long as the worker is working 40 hrs a week, but is in the office the core hrs which are 8am to 3 pm, Mon-Thurs, and 8 am to 12:00 pm on Friday. This means they can go in as early as 6 am or stay late, as long as they work 40 hrs per week, they will be able to leave by 12:00 on Fridays. Minimum requirement: 2 years of logistics experience Preferred but not required: bachelor's or associates degree in related field Interview process: most likely 1 phone screen followed by 1 onsite interview or MS Teams interview

Job Summary

The Logistics Associate will contribute to the design, development and maintenance of the Oshkosh logistics system. Coordination of logistics routing, consolidation of freight and providing system metrics are main responsibilities of this role to support ***'s requirements. The Logistics Associate also establish and review routing and delivering material from origins into manufacturing locations as well as product to customers and dealers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned. Schedule, cover, dispatch and trace freight either inbound or outbound (including expedites). Monitor routes/lanes/shipments for compliance and conformance by service providers. Communicate with carriers on performance and opportunities. Maintain strong working relationships with carriers. Support maintenance and implementation of Long-Term Agreements with carrier partners. Provide support in the development of requirements, quote packages, data gathering, evaluation and analysis of bid packages.

Preferred Qualifications

Logistics experience within the manufacturing industry. Ability to effectively communicate. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail. Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing. Experience with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc. Minimal travel required.
