Job description

Join our dynamic team as a Southeast Regional Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across designated regional routes with energy and precision! In this vital role, you’ll operate a variety of trucks and handle a diverse range of cargo, from refrigerated goods to dry goods, and more. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, safe operations, and excellent service for our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while enjoying a supportive work environment that values your contributions. This position will offer you unlimited earning potential and the ability to be home on weekends after 90 days with only one weekend per month required after that. Starting salary is between 1500-2000 a week.

Responsibilities

·  Safely operate tractor-trailers across regional routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations

·  Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary

·  Handle various types of cargo including refrigerated items, flatbed loads, tankers, and freight requiring special handling

·  Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards

·  Manage route driving responsibilities, optimizing delivery schedules for efficiency and punctuality

·  Must maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records

·  Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery times and resolve any issues promptly

Experience

·  Proven truck driving experience with a focus on regional routes and delivery operations for 5 years

·  Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers

·  Experience operating refrigerated trailers is highly desirable

·  Knowledge of freight handling procedures including load & unload processes

·  Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the equipment operated (e.g., tanker endorsement)

·  Ability to operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts when needed for loading or unloading cargo

·  Strong understanding of safety protocols related to trucking, cargo securement, and vehicle maintenance
