QBE is seeking a Logistician II to support the IEW&S contract.
Responsibilities
Candidate shall perform automated Logistical Specialist tasks primarily related to supervising and performing management or warehouse functions in order to maintain equipment records and parts. Candidate's typical associated tasks include:
  • Establish and maintain stock records and other documents, such as inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports
  • Review and verify quantities received against bills of contracts, purchase requests and shipping documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
  • Unload, unpack, count, segregate, palletize and store incoming supplies and equipment in accordance with prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment
  • Ensure supplies and equipment are stored correctly for each type of product
  • Construct bins, shelving and other storage aids
  • Simplify and standardize the collection and use of maintenance data
  • Raise the quality and accuracy of performance, cost and parts data through improved maintenance management
  • Operate the Global Combat Support System-Army, a logistics system used to track supplies, organizational equipment and spare parts.

Requirements
  • Active US Government clearance at Secret level or higher
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum two years' relevant experience required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team and other stakeholders
