Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your role will involve:

• Assisting in the implementation of individualized treatment plans that are tailored to improve residents' mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional capacity.
• Monitoring progress of therapy sessions and effectively communicating resident outcomes and any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Delivering compassionate care during therapy sessions that encourages confidence and positivity among residents.
• Educating both residents and staff on proper mobility techniques, safety protocols, and exercises conducive to enhancing well-being.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions in accordance with state regulations and Medicare guidelines to ensure compliance and optimal care provision.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to create an integrated approach for each resident, striving for improved patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population you will serve includes seniors, many of whom may face challenges related to mobility, balance, and strength due to age-related conditions or chronic illnesses. By focusing on their unique experiences, you will create a supportive environment that fosters engagement and empowerment, enabling residents to regain their independence and enhance their daily living.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program, ensuring a strong foundational knowledge of physical therapy principles.
• An active Oregon PTA license or eligibility, ensuring compliance with state requirements.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or a commitment to obtain it, emphasizing the importance of safety and preparedness in patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

At Therapy + Precision Ltd., we offer competitive compensation packages that range from $60,000 to $75,000 annually, dependent on your experience and performance. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
