Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your role will involve:

  • Monitoring progress of therapy sessions and effectively communicating resident outcomes and any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Delivering compassionate care during therapy sessions that encourages confidence and positivity among residents.
  • Educating both residents and staff on proper mobility techniques, safety protocols, and exercises conducive to enhancing well-being.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions in accordance with state regulations and Medicare guidelines to ensure compliance and optimal care provision.

Qualifications
  • A graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program, ensuring a strong foundational knowledge of physical therapy principles.
