Precision Graphics information

What are some common challenges faced by professionals in precision graphics roles, and how can they be addressed?

Professionals in Precision Graphics often encounter challenges such as managing extremely detailed and high-resolution designs, ensuring accuracy for technical specifications, and meeting tight deadlines for projects like schematics or printed circuit boards. Collaboration with engineers and other team members is essential to ensure that graphic outputs meet functional requirements. Staying updated with specialized design software and maintaining meticulous attention to detail are key strategies for success in this field.

What is precision graphics?

Precision graphics refer to highly detailed and accurate visual representations, often used in engineering, architecture, manufacturing, and scientific fields. These graphics are created with specialized software to ensure exact measurements and clarity, allowing for precise communication of technical information. Professionals in precision graphics may work on technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, or detailed illustrations that require strict adherence to specifications. The work is essential for ensuring quality control and accuracy in production, design, and research environments.

What is the difference between Precision Graphics vs Graphic Designer?

AspectPrecision GraphicsGraphic Designer

Precision Graphics specialists focus on the technical aspects of printing and production, often requiring certifications in specific software and technical skills. Graphic Designers create visual concepts for branding and marketing, emphasizing creativity and design education. While both roles involve visual work, Precision Graphics is more technical and production-oriented, whereas Graphic Designers focus on conceptual design and branding strategies.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a precision graphics specialist?

To thrive as a Precision Graphics Specialist, you need strong expertise in graphic design principles, attention to detail, and proficiency in drafting or technical illustration, usually supported by a relevant degree or certification. Mastery of design software such as Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD, or CorelDRAW is typically required, alongside familiarity with digital file preparation and output systems. Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and clear communication make you stand out in this position. These competencies are essential to ensure accurate, high-quality visual outputs that meet technical specifications and client needs.

About Suno

We're building the world's first creative entertainment platform, where the entire world can feel the joy and fulfilment of making music. Music is for everyone: Our users include everyone from grandmothers creating songs for their loved ones, to Grammy winners using Suno Studio, our power tool, to make the most popular hits in the world.

Building the future of entertainment requires ambition. The pace is fast, the problems are hard, and the work demands ownership and intensity. For the right people, it’s incredibly rewarding: a chance to shape a new medium, work with a small team that cares deeply about quality, make music, drink too much coffee, and build something that millions of people use to express themselves in ways that were never before possible.

Suno is the fastest growing consumer entertainment company and the leader in AI music. We are backed by leading investors including Bond Capital, Menlo Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, IVP, Forerunner, Union Square Ventures, Alkeon, Quiet, Matrix Partners, Schroders Capital and, NVentures (venture arm of NVIDIA).

About the Role

We’re seeking a highly creative, multidisciplinary Senior Graphic Designer to join Suno’s Brand & Creative Team. You’ll work at the intersection of brand, culture, and product—helping translate Suno’s creative vision into expressive, high-impact design across platforms and formats.

This role plays a key part in evolving Suno’s brand across marketing campaigns, artist partnerships, in-product brand moments, and culture-defining activations. You’ll help shape how Suno shows up visually at moments that matter—from product launches and campaigns to artist collaborations and creative brand expressions.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with creative leadership, designers, writers, motion artists, project managers, product designers, and cross-functional teams to concept, design, and execute work that evolves Suno’s brand.

This role is ideal for a designer who delivers innovative, standout work with precision—evolving the brand through bold ideas that are executed confidently and consistently within Suno’s creative direction.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and execute multidisciplinary creative work that evolves Suno’s brand across campaigns, artist partnerships, in-product moments, and brand activations.

  • Create innovative, high-impact design while maintaining precision and consistency within Suno’s creative direction and brand guidelines.

  • Support artist collaborations and partnerships, developing visuals and assets that authentically reflect both the artist’s voice and Suno’s identity.

  • Contribute to product launches and in-product brand moments, partnering with the Design Director and cross-functional teams (product design, GTM, Growth) to ensure a cohesive visual experience.

  • Translate ideas into polished, production-ready assets across digital, social, print, and motion formats.

  • Iterate quickly and thoughtfully in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, embracing feedback to evolve ideas and elevate the work.

  • Design with a global audience and end-to-end user experience in mind.

  • Maintain a high bar for craft and attention to detail across every execution.

  • Collaborate closely with designers, writers, motion artists, and cross-functional partners to bring great work to life.

What You’ll Need

  • 8+ years of experience as a graphic designer working across multiple disciplines (brand, marketing, digital, social, campaigns, content, etc.).

  • A strong portfolio showcasing innovative thinking and executional excellence across a range of formats and platforms.

  • A multidisciplinary designer. You have experience working across brand, marketing, campaigns, content, and digital surfaces, and you adapt your craft fluidly across formats. Motion experience is a strong bonus.

  • Craft-obsessed. You can zoom out to see the big picture and zoom all the way in to the smallest details—from typography and layout to motion, spacing, and final polish. You know great work is built through care, precision, and attention to detail.

  • Collaborative to your core. You love working closely with designers, motion artists, writers, product teams, and partners—embracing feedback and shaping ideas together to create work that’s both inspiring and practical.

  • A proactive builder. You thrive in ambiguity, spot opportunities early, and bring structure to creative chaos—proposing ideas, improving systems, and pushing work forward.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment. You can juggle multiple projects, iterate quickly and thoughtfully, and maintain a high bar for quality under changing timelines.

  • Brand-forward and user-aware. You think globally, care about the end-to-end user experience, and design with both consistency and cultural relevance in mind.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; motion design skills (After Effects, animated prototypes, etc.) are a strong bonus.

  • Passionate about music and culture. You’re excited by artists, creative expression, and emerging technology—and motivated by shaping how people experience music.
