  • Customer Service: Provide clear status updates, freight rate quotes, and consultative logistics advice to clients and vendors.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Language Requirement (Mandatory): Must be fully bilingual in English and Mandarin OR bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal fluency required for daily international and vendor communications).
  • Experience: Verifiable hands-on experience in ocean freight forwarding, logistics coordination, or NVOCC operations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of international shipping documentation (MBL/HBL, ISF, Arrival Notices), Incoterms, and U.S. Customs entry processes.
  • Vendor Network: Familiarity with Houston port operations, local drayage networks, and rail ramps is highly preferred.
  • Software: Proficient with freight management software (e.g., CargoWise, Magaya, or similar ERPs) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multi-step shipments in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Stable, predictable schedule (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
  • A collaborative environment within a boutique, growing logistics firm
  • Opportunities for professional growth within international supply chain operations
