Key Responsibilities

  • Execute column and collar drill holes with precision drilling, consistently exceeding customer expectations.
  • Maintain meticulous daily drill logs, perform pre-start checks, and manage time sheets efficiently.
  • Cultivate a safety-centric approach while surpassing production forecasts.
  • Regularly utilize safety tools such as Take 5 assessments and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
  • Maintaining rigs in impeccable condition, ensuring they are clean, organized, and primed for operation.
  • Diligent reporting of maintenance issues and meticulous record-keeping of consumables.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Prior experience in blast hole drilling operations or a strong desire to learn and grow in this field.
  • Possession of a Certificate III in Drilling Operations is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Sandvik DPi or Pantera rigs is preferred.
  • Proven track record of thriving in remote work environments.
  • Ability to obtain national police check clearance and possess a current Australian Open Class Manual Drivers License.
