Job description

At Practifi, we build financial technology, but more importantly, we build a place where people enjoy working and genuinely care about each other. In a crowd of fintechs preaching culture, we actually live it—what you see in interviews is what you'll experience every day. You'll join a team that solves real problems for real people, together.

Practifi is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

We value transparency in our hiring process. Please note that portions of our recruitment process may involve the use of AI-assisted tools to help review applications and match candidates to job requirements. All final hiring decisions are made by our human recruitment team, ensuring fair and thoughtful consideration for every applicant.

Growth Marketing Manager — Where Your Impact Actually Matters About Practifi (The Real Story)

Practifi builds Salesforce-native software that helps financial advisors run their practices and serve their clients better. We're a remote-first team spread across the US and Australia, under 100 people, and we like it that way. Small enough that your work is visible. Big enough that you're never doing it alone.

We're not going to pretend we're a perfectly polished machine. We're a growing company that cares deeply about doing right by our clients and our team. What you see in this ad is what you'll get on day one: real problems, real ownership, and real people who want to see you succeed.

The Opportunity (What This Role Really Means)

Practifi's growth depends on campaigns that actually move the needle for the people who receive them, our clients, our prospects, and our internal teams. This role is where marketing strategy becomes marketing reality. You'll take the priorities and direction set by our Head of Marketing and turn them into campaigns that launch on time, land well, and get measured honestly.

You'll work closely with Sales, Client Success, Product Marketing, and Demand Generation to make sure every campaign is grounded in what our clients actually need, not just what looks good on a calendar.

Your Day‑to‑Day (The Honest Version)

The Core Work: You'll refine approved campaign briefs into workback plans, write campaign copy, and run multi-channel campaigns across paid and organic channels, including social, lifecycle, adoption, cross‑sell, and partner campaigns. You'll coordinate agencies and contributors, keep webinars and follow‑up on track, and make sure content gets repurposed and distributed well beyond its first send.

The Reality Check: You won't be handed a finished playbook. You'll get direction and guardrails from our Head of Marketing, and you'll be trusted to figure out the how. Your Practibuddy mentor will help you get oriented, and the team is genuinely collaborative when you need a second opinion or a hand.

The Growth Part: You'll have real input into how campaigns, audiences, and messaging come together, and real exposure to cross‑functional leaders across Sales and Client Success. Practifi promotes from within, and your Learnbucks education stipend is there to help you build the skills that get you there.

What We're Really Looking For

The Must‑Haves : 3-5 years Experience owning multi‑channel marketing campaigns end to end, from brief through performance review. Strong campaign copywriting that adapts to brand voice. Comfort working across a core marketing stack (CRM, paid and organic channel tools, website CMS, webinar platforms, analytics). Based in or able to work from the Chicago area.

The Nice‑to‑Haves: Experience marketing to B2B SaaS or financial services audiences. Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or Google Ads specifically. Experience with lifecycle or adoption‑focused campaigns aimed at existing customers, not just net‑new acquisition.

The More Important Stuff: You take ownership without needing every step spelled out. You know when to push forward and when to flag something up the chain. You're curious about what's working and why, and you're honest when something isn't. You genuinely like collaborating, this role touches nearly every team in the company.

What Taking This Leap Gets You

The Practical Stuff : Base salary of $95,000–$115,000, based on experience (see Section 3 for how we got here). This is a base‑only role; there is no performance bonus component. Full benefits, 20 days Paid Leave, 10 sick days, 3 personal days, and 3 volunteering days, all available from day one.

The Cultural Stuff : A dedicated Practibuddy mentor from day one. An annual Learnbucks stipend to keep learning. Bi‑annual company summits in Chicago, which, since you'll already be local, means you'll be right at the center of it. Genuine work‑life integration, not a buzzword we put in job ads and forget about.

Living Our Values Daily
  • Growth — Progress with purpose. You'll set your own performance targets each quarter and use Learnbucks to build new skills as the role grows.
  • Collaboration — Together we achieve more. You'll partner constantly with Sales, Client Success, Product Marketing, and Marketing Ops.
  • Transparency — Clarity inspires trust. Compensation is posted openly right here, and you’ll get honest feedback on every campaign you run.
  • Curiosity — Open minds ignite change. You're encouraged to test, question campaign approaches, and bring new channel ideas to the table.
  • Integrity — Integrity leads, actions follow. You'll be trusted to make judgment calls and to elevate the ones that need another set of eyes.
Ready to Join Our Community?

This role reports to the Head of Marketing and sits within our Marketing team, working in close partnership with Sales, Client Success, Product Marketing, and Demand Generation/Marketing Operations. This is a Chicago‑based position; candidates should be located in or willing to relocate to the Chicago area. We're looking to bring someone on board as soon as we find the right fit.

One Last Thing:

We're not just hiring a Growth Marketing Manager, we're adding someone to our community who'll help shape how Practifi shows up for the clients and prospects who are counting on us. If that sounds like the kind of work you want to be doing, we'd love to hear from you.
