We are seeking dependable, motivated, and customer-focused individuals to join our Southern California operations as Support Services Technicians.

This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the emergency medical services (EMS) field, including EMT students seeking valuable experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Support Services Technicians play an important role in maintaining the readiness of our ambulances, equipment, supplies, and deployment locations.

The Support Services Technician is responsible for operating company vehicles, including ambulances, while providing professional customer service to internal and external customers. This position supports daily operations by delivering supplies and equipment, maintaining vehicle and facility cleanliness, completing inventory requests, and helping ensure company resources meet established readiness standards.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles, including ambulances, throughout Southern California.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Deliver supplies and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds to deployment stations, hospitals, and field operations personnel.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of company vehicles, facilities, property, and equipment.
  • Complete inventory checks and inventory requests as needed.
  • Assist with light maintenance and minor repairs to stations, vehicles, or equipment.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and company information.
  • Read and understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and other workplace documents.
  • Complete routine reports and written correspondence.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers, customers, healthcare personnel, and other members of the public.
  • Work independently and effectively as part of a team.
  • Follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Current and valid California Class C Driver’s License.
  • Reliable transportation to and from assigned work locations.
  • Driving record that meets company and applicable auto insurance requirements.
  • Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screening, which may include a physical examination, drug screening, and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of general work experience.
  • At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
  • Previous customer service and product/material handling experience.
  • Previous experience as a delivery or route driver in Orange County and/or the Greater Los Angeles area.
  • Demonstrated history of safe driving while operating delivery or company vehicles.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
  • Experience safely operating two- or four-wheeled hand trucks or similar material-handling equipment.
  • At least 21 years of age.
Physical Requirements

The position regularly requires the ability to:

  • Stand, walk, sit, drive, bend, reach, and use hands and arms.
  • Operate company vehicles safely.
  • Lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Perform routine cleaning, stocking, and maintenance-related activities.
