  • Working knowledge of access control platforms and video surveillance systems (VMS, IP cameras, NVRs) as complementary disciplines.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, cellular and broadband communications, and cybersecurity best practices as they apply to security devices.
  • Experience working with and supporting security dealers and integrators, as well as enterprise end-users.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence presenting to both technical and executive stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of enterprise security procurement processes or commercial/government verticals.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales & System Design
  • Serve as a primary technical resource for the North American sales team and dealer/integrator network.
  • Design and scope integrated security systems with a primary focus on intrusion detection panels and peripheral devices, alongside access control and video surveillance components.
  • Respond to technical inquiries, RFPs, and proof-of-concept requests in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to dealers, integrators, and enterprise end-users.
  • Conduct site assessments and produce system design documentation, including panel configurations, zone layouts, network architecture, and device schedules for intrusion and fire alarm systems.

Channel and Customer Enablement
  • Travel onsite to support dealers and integrators with training, programming guidance, and system commissioning.
  • Lead sales and technical training sessions covering DMP intrusion panels, access control, and video integration for both channel partners and end-user customers.
  • Manage pilot and proof-of-concept projects on behalf of the sales team, ensuring successful outcomes and clear documentation.

  • Observe and adhere to DMP Data Classification policy.
