Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care Cath Lab experience and a Colorado or compact RN license.

Details
  • Work in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 holding bays and 2 cath suites
  • Unit staffed by a team of 9
  • Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM
  • Pre/post procedural area follows a variable 0700-1700 schedule
  • Patient ratio of 3 staff to 1 patient in the procedural area
  • Utilizes GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab equipment
  • Charts in Meditech EMR
  • Performs procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, pacers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests
  • On-call requirement of 1-2 shifts per week
  • Weekend rotation approximately every third weekend (Friday-Saturday-Sunday)
Requirements
  • Active RN license (Colorado or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Cath Lab RN experience required
  • Holding experience preferred
  • Monitoring experience preferred
  • No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
