| Aspect | Pre Apprenticeship | Apprentice |
|---|---|---|
| Credentials | Often no formal certifications required | Typically requires basic certifications or prerequisites |
| Work Environment | Training programs, classroom settings, or entry-level tasks | On-the-job training alongside experienced workers |
| Purpose | Prepare individuals for full apprenticeship programs | Develop skills and gain experience in a specific trade |
In summary, a Pre Apprenticeship serves as an introductory phase to prepare individuals for a full apprenticeship, focusing on foundational skills and training. An Apprentice is actively engaged in hands-on work, gaining practical experience in their chosen trade. Both roles are essential steps in career development within skilled trades.
