Job SummaryThe perioperative anesthesia RN is responsible for assessing, delegating, implementing, evaluating and coordinating anesthesia related patient care activities; serves as resource person for the Anesthesia Department, Perioperative Services, Endoscopy, Labor and Delivery, and Interventional Radiology; attends Anesthesia Department Meetings.
Dynamic and highly skilled Perioperative Anesthesia RN with expertise in assessing, coordinating, and delivering comprehensive anesthesia-related patient care across multiple clinical areas, including Perioperative Services, Endoscopy, Labor and Delivery, and Interventional Radiology. Demonstrates strong leadership through effective delegation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and serving as a key resource for the Anesthesia Department. Committed to maintaining high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence while actively contributing to departmental operations and participating in Anesthesia Department meetings.
Shift: M – F /1st shift
Salary Details:
Hourly rate is determined by years of worked experience as an RN, education level, and internal equity within organization. Minimum rate starting at $35.75, max of salary range is $55.55. In addition to hourly rate, if candidate holds an approved certification position qualifies for certification pay of $1.50.
Required Qualifications- Require a minimum of four (4) years of perioperative nursing experience in multiple surgical specialties and/or anesthesia.
- Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).
Preferred Qualifications- Prefer demonstrated clinical expertise, knowledge and skill in quality and process improvement activities.
- Prefer certification in nursing specialty area.

Required License and CertsBLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
FL RN: FL Registered Nurse License
Preferred License and CertsACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
