Job description

Schedule: Part-Time approximately 5-15 hours per week (Saturday evenings, Sundays, Wednesday Evenings, and special events).
Job Description: Provides physical, emotional and intellectual stimulation and safety of children 0-5 years while working in the church's nurseries. Works under the direction of the Kids Jr Coordinator and Next Gen Pastor.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop a Christ-centered relationship with the children and co-laborers
  • Interact with the children through play, games, and activities
  • Assist to ensure order within the classroom
  • Participate in classroom activities, i.e., praise and worship, story and lesson time, prayer, etc.
  • Assisting children during various classroom activities, i.e., crafts, snacks, etc.
  • Support Ministry Leadership
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined within The Heights Church Kids Ministry Worker's Manual
  • Enthusiastically complete any tasks and assignments
  • All Ministry Workers are expected to participate in the following aspects of the ministry: room preparation and cleanup, praise and worship, prayer, lesson activities, and craft time.
  • Be available to attend any training or meetings scheduled by the Next Gen Pastor or The Heights Kids Jr Coordinator.
