Job description

SuperFlash, the industrial division of Marquard Ventures is seeking an experienced sales professional with a strong background in the specialty gas industry to drive growth of our portfolio of high-purity and ultra-high-purity gas delivery equipment. This role is focused on expanding sales through distributor partners and identifying new opportunities within industrial, laboratory, semiconductor, life science, analytical, and specialty gas markets.
The successful candidate will already have an established network within the specialty gas industry and understand how distributors buy, stock, and sell gas control equipment. They are comfortable discussing applications ranging from industrial gas delivery to ultra-high-purity semiconductor systems and are equally effective calling on distributor management, sales representatives, and technical end users. The ideal candidate will have existing relationships and experience with companies such as Airgas, Praxair/Linde, Matheson, Messer, GCE Druva, Rotarex, TESCOM, Victor, or similar organizations.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow sales of high-purity and ultra-high-purity regulators, valves, manifolds, pigtails, and related gas control equipment.
  • Manage and expand relationships with specialty gas distributors across the assigned territory.
  • Identify opportunities to increase market share through new distributor partnerships and strategic account development.
  • Work closely with distributor sales teams through joint customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical training.
  • Develop business with OEMs, laboratories, research facilities, semiconductor manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and other specialty gas users.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product management to provide application solutions for customer requirements.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and support contract opportunities.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately forecast business opportunities using CRM software.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, distributor meetings, and customer events.
  • Monitor competitive products, pricing, and market trends to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Achieve or exceed annual sales and profitability objectives.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of successful sales experience in specialty gas equipment, gas control products, or related industrial products.
  • Knowledge of:
    • High Purity (HP) gas delivery systems
    • Ultra High Purity (UHP) gas delivery systems
    • Pressure regulators
    • Cylinder valves
    • Diaphragm valves
    • Manifolds
    • Flexible pigtails
    • Gas distribution systems
  • Proven success selling through industrial distribution.
  • Ability to understand technical specifications and recommend appropriate gas control solutions.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40–60%.
