During your internship/practicum, you will job shadow a staff member in each of our programs within the agency allowing you to gain exposure and education in many different specialties. You will then be able to identify your area(s) of focus offering a fully customizable experience where you're in the driver's seat.
BACHELOR'S LEVEL:
  • Individual and Group Rehabilitation Sessions
  • Case Management Services
  • Community Outreach
  • Peer Support Services
  • Initial Assessments
  • Safety Planning
  • Evaluating client outcomes
  • Wellness integration

MASTER'S LEVEL:
  • All Bachelor's level activities
  • Individual, Group, and Family therapy sessions
  • Bio-psycho-social assessment
  • Diagnostics
  • Treatment Plan development
  • Administrative/Management tasks

Hours can be accrued at your pace accommodating your schedule and availability. Some shadowing experiences can take place on weekends and after hours at specific locations giving you flexibility when it comes to achieving your goals. At this time, we are unable to accommodate 100% virtual experiences. but there may be some opportunities for remote shadowing.
