Dental Care Alliance is seeking a Traveling Practice Manager in Virginia to support multiple dental offices by providing strong leadership, operational oversight, and an exceptional patient experience while working in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, flexible, and results-driven Traveling Practice Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced dental practice leader who enjoys variety, thrives in different environments, and is willing to travel between multiple office locations throughout Virginia to support practice operations.

The Traveling Practice Manager will provide leadership and operational support across multiple practices, ensuring efficient workflows, strong team performance, excellent patient experiences, and consistent adherence to company standards.

This position will work closely with doctors, clinical teams, and administrative staff to identify opportunities for improvement, support team development, and help each office achieve its operational and patient-care goals.

  • Supervise and support patient coordinators, dental assistants, hygienists, and treatment coordinators to maintain smooth workflows.
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and front-office operations to optimize productivity and patient experience.
  • Support dentists and staff with treatment planning, billing, and insurance processes while ensuring accurate financial transactions.
  • Monitor office finances, including expense management, invoice submission, collections, and receivables, to maintain profitability.
  • Maintain office inventory by overseeing supplies, equipment, and facility cleanliness for an organized and professional environment.
  • Lead hiring, training, and staff development while addressing patient and employee concerns professionally to foster a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of management experience within dental setting.
  • Must be willing to travel to any of our Virginia North office locations.
  • Experience working in a dental or medical office is required.
  • Experience in insurance processes and billing is a must.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills to work independently in fast paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and practice management software.
  • Strong attention to detail, compliance, and confidentiality in handling patient records and office operations.
