Partner/Group Lead – General Liability

Kelley Kronenberg, a premier national law firm, is seeking an accomplished and entrepreneurial Partner-level Attorney to lead and grow a team within our New Orleans General Liability Practice. This is a rare opportunity for a high-performing litigator ready to take ownership of a practice unit, drive business growth, and build a team within a firm that provides the infrastructure and support to make that vision a reality.

As a Partner and Unit Lead, you will oversee and manage a General Liability caseload while contributing to Kelley Kronenberg's presence in the New Orleans market. This position is designed for a results-driven leader who combines strong litigation instincts with a strategic, entrepreneurial mindset and an existing client base ready to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a General Liability practice unit within the New Orleans Division, overseeing caseload distribution, team performance, and client service delivery.
  • Handle complex General Liability matters from inception through resolution, including depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
  • Develop and execute case strategies while actively maintaining and growing a portable book of business.
  • Collaborate with the Chair of General Liability and other Unit Leads to align practice group goals with broader firm strategy.
  • Partner with the firm's in-house Business Development and Marketing team to service existing clients and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture consistent with the firm's values.

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Louisiana and in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar.
  • 6+ years of experience in General Liability litigation, with demonstrated Partner-level responsibility.
  • Portable book of business required, with the demonstrated ability to retain and expand client relationships in the Louisiana market.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage and mentor a growing team.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of high performance in a fast-paced litigation environment.
