Ppo information

What is a PPO?

A PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) job typically refers to roles within the healthcare or insurance industry that involve managing provider networks, ensuring cost-effective care, and facilitating patient access to medical services. Professionals in these roles may work for insurance companies, healthcare organizations, or third-party administrators. Their responsibilities often include negotiating contracts with healthcare providers, analyzing cost and utilization data, and improving service quality.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a PPO?

To thrive as a PPO (Police Patrol Officer), you need a solid understanding of law enforcement protocols, criminal justice principles, and typically must have completed accredited police academy training. Familiarity with law enforcement databases, radio communication systems, and incident reporting software is essential. Strong interpersonal skills, integrity, and a calm demeanor under pressure help officers effectively interact with the public and handle high-stress situations. These competencies are critical for maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, and building community trust.

What kind of work schedule should I expect as a PPO?

Police Patrol Officers often work in rotating shifts that can include nights, weekends, and holidays, as police services are needed 24/7. Shifts may last eight to twelve hours and are typically assigned based on departmental needs and seniority. While this schedule can be challenging, it comes with the benefit of variety in daily duties and interaction with the community at different times. Officers generally work as part of a team and frequently collaborate with detectives, emergency responders, and other law enforcement professionals.

Job description

Front Office Coordinator - Herriman, Utah
Full-Time | Private Practice | 100% PPO/FFS | Growing, Patient-Focused Office
A respected, privately owned dental group is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Office Coordinator to join its established practice in Herriman, Utah.
This is a busy, growing PPO and Fee-for-Service practice with a strong patient base, modern technology, and a team that takes pride in creating an exceptional patient experience.
We're looking for someone who can make patients feel welcome, keep the schedule organized, communicate clearly, and help the office run smoothly every day.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
You'll be joining an established office with real momentum:
  • Approximately 40 new patients per month YTD
  • 68 new patients in July
  • Strong and growing patient demand
  • 100% PPO and Fee-for-Service
  • Privately owned, doctor-led environment
  • Modern, comprehensive dental practice
  • Supportive team with clear systems and expectations

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to build a long-term career in a high-quality private dental practice.
What You'll Do
As a Front Office Coordinator, you'll help manage the patient experience from the first phone call through checkout.
Responsibilities include:
  • Greeting patients and creating a warm, professional first impression
  • Answering incoming calls and responding to patient questions
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Maintaining an organized and productive doctor and hygiene schedule
  • Verifying PPO insurance benefits and eligibility
  • Reviewing treatment plans and estimated patient portions
  • Collecting payments and helping patients understand financial arrangements
  • Managing check-in and check-out
  • Following up with patients on unscheduled treatment
  • Supporting recall and reactivation efforts
  • Maintaining accurate patient information and documentation
  • Communicating closely with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and office leadership
What We're Looking For
Dental experience is strongly preferred, particularly experience with:
  • Dental scheduling
  • PPO insurance verification
  • Treatment plan coordination
  • Patient collections
  • Check-in and check-out workflows
  • Dental practice management software

Just as important, we're looking for someone who is:
  • Friendly and confident with patients
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Reliable and accountable
  • Comfortable handling a busy phone and front desk
  • Professional in both communication and appearance
  • Able to multitask without losing attention to detail
  • Positive, proactive, and team-oriented
  • Comfortable discussing treatment costs and collecting payment
Patient Experience Matters
The front office sets the tone for the entire practice.
We're looking for someone who understands that patients may be anxious, confused about insurance, or unsure about treatment - and can communicate with patience, clarity, professionalism, and empathy.
This isn't a transactional front-desk environment. We want patients to feel genuinely cared for.
⚙ Modern Private Practice
You'll work alongside an experienced clinical team in a modern dental office offering comprehensive care, including:
  • Preventive and restorative dentistry
  • CEREC and same-day dentistry
  • Endodontics
  • Oral surgery
  • Implant dentistry

The practice utilizes modern digital technology and efficient systems designed to create a better experience for both patients and the team.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Full-time, W-2 position
  • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience
  • Medical benefits
  • Dental benefits
  • Vision benefits
  • Predictable practice schedule
  • Opportunity for professional growth within an established private dental group
Who Will Thrive Here
You'll likely enjoy this role if you're the type of person who:
  • Likes knowing the schedule is organized
  • Enjoys helping patients solve problems
  • Takes ownership instead of waiting to be asked
  • Notices details others miss
  • Can stay calm when the front office gets busy
  • Enjoys being part of a team that holds itself to a high standard

If you're looking for a stable, growing private practice where your contribution matters, we'd like to hear from you.
