Heavy Duty Truck Painter
Bosco's Automotive, Inc. | Enfield, CT

Bosco's Automotive is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Truck Painter to join our growing team. We paint and refinish a wide variety of commercial vehicles and equipment using PPG paint systems, including tractor trailers, dump bodies, garbage trucks, vocational trucks, and fleet vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, grinding, masking, cleaning, and minor bodywork
  • Apply primers and sealers to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality
  • Mix and apply PPG primers, basecoats, and topcoats
  • Paint heavy-duty trucks, trailers, dump bodies, refuse trucks, and commercial equipment
  • Wet sand, buff, and polish painted surfaces to achieve a professional finish
  • Perform paint repairs, touch-ups, and color matching
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a truck painter, industrial painter, automotive painter, or heavy equipment painter
  • Experience with spray painting equipment and paint mixing
  • Knowledge of PPG paint products preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license
